Fathom Analytics
This site uses Fathom Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-focused analytics tool. Fathom is always active because it does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across sites. It is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and ePrivacy without requiring consent.
Plausible Analytics
We also use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool that is loaded only after you opt in through the consent banner. Plausible tracks page views, referrers, and general device information (browser, OS, screen size) — it does not collect personal data, use cookies, or track you across websites.
Your choices
When you first visit the site, a consent banner asks whether you'd like to allow Plausible analytics. If you decline, Plausible never loads. You can change your choice at any time using the "Privacy settings" button in the footer, or by clearing the "tandem-consent" key from your browser's localStorage. Regardless of your choice, no tracking cookies are ever set on this site.
No advertising or third-party tracking
This site does not use ad networks, social-media trackers, retargeting pixels, or browser fingerprinting. There are no third-party scripts beyond the two analytics tools described above.
The app
The Tandem Audio Mac app collects zero data. No audio ever leaves your Mac, no telemetry is sent, and no accounts or personal information are required. Everything stays on your device.
